SkateSA will be holding a Roller Derby Coaching Accreditation Course in early 2016. (aiming for March 2016)

This will be the first Roller Derby Coaching Courses accredited by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) that has been held in S.A. 

Please note an accredited coach certificate by a recognised organisation like the ASC is essential for Professional Indemnity coverage.

SkateSA now calls for Expressions of Interest as follows:

• Host Club / Venue for a Roller Derby Coaching Courses

• Members / Coaches wishing to participate in the Course

• Coaches wishing to be considered as Assessors / Presenters through Recognised Prior Learning (RPL)

All participants are required to first complete a free online Community Coaching General Principles course.

As this will be the inaugural course, current member coaches with experience are encouraged to register their RPL for consideration as Assessors / Presenters.

All RPL candidates will be required to:

• Complete a free online Community Coaching General Principles course
• Complete an Assessors / Presenters Course (details to follow)
• Provide their Coaching resume
• Co-Present units of the inaugural course
