Speed SA annual meeting will be held at the Lunch break in the Elizabeth Netball club rooms. Light lunch provided.

Nominations: The 2019 South Australian Inline Speed Skating Championships is open to all registered Competitive members of Skate SA who are financial as the Thursday 31st of October 2019 or who are members of a World Skate affiliated Club. Nomination are to be completed via the Skate SA website no later than Friday 31st of October 2019.

Coaches & Team Managers: All Coaches and Team Managers must be financial members of Skate Australia and hold a current Police Clearance.

Team Coaches MUST hold a current Coaches Accreditation (Level 1) with Skate Australia.

All Clubs should appoint a Team Manager, who shall be responsible for advising their team members of any program changes, general information and for ensuring all required paperwork is completed and returned on time.

The appointed Team Manager is the ONLY Club representative authorised to approach the Officials (via the Chief Referee) on any competition/racing matter. Team Managers are responsible for the conduct and behaviour of their club members at all competition venues.

CODE OF CONDUCT & SPORTSMANSHIPS: All competitors and officials need to be fully aware of the Skate SA Speed Code of Conduct and abide by it. Those competitors found to have breached the Code may be disqualified from the entire Race event/series. Please read and sign attached Code of Conduct

Skate SA has ZERO tolerance of Bullying.

COMPETITION REGULATIONS: All Skate SA Road and Marathon events are conducted according to the 2019 Speed Technical Commission General regulations  with the exception that all competitors MUST wear GLOVES (including during warm up and training).

SUITABLE DRESS FOR WARM UP & EVENTS:

● All competitors’ bodysuits should be clean, in good repair, all have shoulders covered and be in good taste.

● All Skaters should be in club skinsuits, if any skaters wish to wear a sponsor’s skinsuit then a letter of sponsorship must be sent to skatesavpspeed@gmail.com for ratification from the Speed SA Committee.

MARSHALLING: All competitors are required to marshal prior to the start of the competition. Please present yourself to the marshal with:

● Wearing your bodysuit

● 3 x legible racing numbers measuring 75mm x 50mm. Black on White material. (place 1 on each hip and 1 on back)

● Skates (inline or quad)

● Helmet

● Gloves (Compulsory for road and marathon)

PROTEST FEES: All protests shall be in writing to the Chief Referee of the event as per the regulations. A fee of $25.00 is to be paid on lodgement.

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS: All skaters receiving a medal must be wearing club skinsuit. Skates optional. No helmet is required for this ceremony.
